Why should I dedicate my child?
Child and Parent Dedication is a public statement by Christian parents that they will train up their child in the Christian faith and seek to instill that faith in them.
Child and Parent dedication does not guarantee the child's salvation, rather parents are standing before the Lord and the congregation for three reasons:
They are presenting the child to the Lord for his blessing
They are dedicating themselves to their task
They are asking for the help and the prayers of the church family
