We believe that serving is at the heart of what it means to be a Christ-follower. Jesus Himself stated that He

“…did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45).

Serving not only helps us with God’s mission, but also helps spiritually to form us to be more like Jesus.

We believe in two ways to serve; inside the walls of GI Free and outside those walls, in our community and globally. We believe in taking the transforming Hope of Christ to Grand Island. We believe we are all called to serve and have opportunities for adults, families, youth, and children to serve our community.
